Where May I Register to vote?
Please bring ID with your date of birth and Cabell

NOTE** IF YOU REGISTER BY MAIL YOU MUST SHOW PROPER ID THE
FIRST TIME YOU VOTE . |

Once each year, we visit each high school and register all eligible
persons. |

Registration and Residency Deadline |
|
The registration deadline is 20 days prior to an election. |
|
| You must be a resident of Cabell County 30 days prior to the
election. |
|
Military and Overseas Voters |
|
Military personnel and their spouses may register and voter using their
last physical address in Cabell County. All military bases provide
Federal Post Card Registration forms which also serve as absentee ballot
requests. Forms may also be obtained from the internet to register
and written requests for absentee ballots may be sent with the
registration form. |

"No Excuse" Early Voting |
|
Residents of Cabell County may vote in person at the County Clerk's
Office beginning 20 days prior to the election. Early voting is open to
all registered voters. |

Absentee by Mail |
|
Voters who are unable to vote in person on election day or during the no
excuse early voting period may request an application to vote by mail.
